The only pets we have we 'come by naturally'. We've been feeding birds for several years, adding a feeder periodically; running the squirrels off often. My Dad was always hand feeding chicadees in NH each winter. They loved eating his home made donuts right from his hand. They got so friendly they'd land on our heads if we stood quitely close to their food. Anyhow, we have chickadees, woodpeckers, juncos, bluejays, finches, titmice, etc. etc.

Wow, you really know your birds! I can i.d. blue jays, crows, buzzards and cardinals. The rest won't hold still long enough for me to get a bird book!
